Digital Finite Impulse Response Filters (FIR)*

GIRD Systems’ suite of Finite Impulse Response (FIR) Filters implement the classic FIR filter functionality. Serial and parallel versions are available to support low resource utilization or high performance applications. Symmetric implementations, supporting both odd and even symmetry, are also available to further reduce multiplier utilization and filter tap storage requirements.

Optionally, our FIR IP Cores can support the Advanced eXtensible Interface (AXI 4-Lite) or the Avalon Streaming Interface (Avalon-ST) upon request.

Digital Infinite Impulse Response Filters (IIR)*

GIRD Systems offers a base digital biquad filter for use in building larger custom Infinite Implulse Response (IIR) filters. Customers can serially cascade several biquad filters to form larger IIR filters and perform their own quantization/stability analysis for their custom filter application.

Optionally, our IIR IP Cores can support the Advanced eXtensible Interface (AXI 4-Lite) or the Avalon Streaming Interface (Avalon-ST) upon request.

Moving Sum Filters*

GIRD Systems’ Moving Sum Filters calculate the running sum of a stream of input samples over a configurable sample window. Shift register and Block RAM-based implementations are available. These filters can be coupled with GIRD’s serial or pipelined divider IP Core to find moving averages for non-power-of-2 window sizes.

Optionally, our Moving Sum Filter IP Cores can support the Advanced eXtensible Interface (AXI 4-Lite) or the Avalon Streaming Interface (Avalon-ST) upon request.
